First of all, God will not lie or cheat on us
and his wedding ring he won't take back
He'll give his bride, fresh flowers each day
so to keep the marriage intact
He never will take back his promise
but will remain faithful and true
He will keep on loving in no matter what
it will grow more toward me and you
When our hair begins to fall here and there
and out teeth start falling out
and if we ever lose a part of this body
He'll still love us, without a shadow of doubt
He will love us whether fat or thin
accepts us as we are, or matter who we are
His kind of love it has no end
His love will never deceive us
and what he says we can always trust
No games with our motions will he ever play
and not one word will crumble to dust
He will walk with us and keep us near
and will hold us when we cry
He will carry our burdens on his shoulders
and every word we can rely
He won't ever leave us all alone
He will be there unto the end
and he'll be there through the night or day
for he is that kind of friend
He won't put anymore upon us
than you and I can bear
This is a promise that he won't break
such a love beyond compare
When our eyes grow dim and ears come dull
our God he will love us still
And he will see us as he did before
this vow is better than any kind of will
He will comfort us through our sickness
and out to us he'll hold his hand
This power of love he has, for you and I
know it will forever stand
This marriage vow will last forever
not one day it will grow cold
It will keep on going deeper and deeper
for in his heart he does hold
The Lord will forever cherish his bride
in the good times and the bad
And will never hold anthing against her
nor his love will make her sad
In the rising of the sun he'll be there
and in the evening when it goes down
And when night falls, he will hear her call
showing always he can be found
This marriage started out with a lot of love
and it will be for eternity
How do I know that this is so,
well, on the cross it was proven to me
